****Great Detroit Style Pizza**** Jet's is great. The deep dish square pizzas are definitely a step up from Domino's, Papa Johns, and the like. In NY, these are most comparable to Sicilians. However, the dough is a little lighter in texture and fluffier and the sauce is also a little lighter and sweeter. Probably greater dough:sauce ratio here. In my opinion, better than most Silician slices I've gotten in NY, which is pretty high praise. Fairly greasy, and the crust has a nice marginal burnt crispiness. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. It's not "gourmet" pizza, but its very good for a chain. The downside is cost. Menu prices are high and no coupons are provided on the website (unlike the big chains)...try to get your hands on some coupons as they make a big difference. It's still expensive, but for the quality of pizza makes it a much more viable option. For the price I'm not sure if getting the round pizzas is really worth it although I haven't had one of these in a while. FINAL VERDICT: Definitely delicious and novel enough for the deep dish/8 corner pies to make my rotation of local pizza options or order from when I am in SE Michigan -- good to try if you're interested in Detroit-style pizza.

This was my favorite pizza chain in college, but my past two experiences at this branch have been bad. About a month ago my boyfriend and I ordered pizza and Turbo Stix from here. After it arrived, we found that the pizza sauce we ordered with the Turbo Stix was missing, so we called in to ask if we could get some. The person on the phone was incredibly rude. When he heard what the problem was his first reaction was to ask, "What do you expect me to do about it?" I asked if we could please have the sauce we ordered. He had a bad attitude and condescending tone the whole time and went out of his way to make things difficult (asking what our address was and then interrupting a lot and having me start over a number of times when I tried to spell it for him--he wouldn't even let me get four letters into it). Eventually I gave up and, for the first time in my life, asked if I could please speak to someone else working there. He put me on hold for a long time. When the phone was finally picked up, a second man on the other end was very polite and was much kinder. He apologized for the mistake and said someone was on the way with the sauce. The second man ended up saving our afternoon (neither of us like Turbo Stix without the sauce). We used to be regular customers and had ordered from this Jet's once or twice a week ever since we moved to the area. But, after this, we were concerned about what kind of service we would get if we ordered from here again. We tried other places in Ann Arbor, but Jet's was still my favorite. Today, after a very long and difficult day, we decided to give Jet's one more shot. My boyfriend ordered this time. Our Turbo Stix had the sauce, so we thought everything was fine. We started to think that maybe it would be okay to continue ordering from there again since there didn't seem to be any problems. Then, partway through eating, I picked up one of the Turbo Stix and a very crispy fly fell off of the bottom of it (picture included). Jet's was closed by then, so we could call in to report it or ask for a replacement. We ended up needing to throw the order of Jet's Bread away since we knew, based on the fly, that it was made in unsanitary conditions. It saddens me to say it, but we won't be ordering from here again. This branch of Jet's Pizza has thoroughly lost our trust after these incidents.

Very good pizza. Reasonably priced and hot and fresh. I have ordered large quantities for staff meetings/parties more than once and everyone has gobbled it up. Many positive comments.

Placed an party order for my sons birthday. Generally I love jets pizza, I had 3 different types of party trays, different variety. Every thing tasted as usual fantastic. Was delivered right on time. Every thing as I ordered. The guy who helped me place the order was super cool, he gave me some extra discounts as well. Thanks guys.

Holy expensive pizza. Every time I order from jets I forget how expensive it is. If it wasn't for the location I'd order elsewhere. They do have decent crust though.... But I don't think it's worth the money.

I liked it. Ordered a square pizza and customized it online so it had all the stuff on it I wanted. It was just right. Not too big. Not overly bread-y and bland (like Cottage Inn and other local pizza places) and they got all the ingredients right. Crust was super good. Delivery was fast and efficient and nice. I'm jaded and don't much like college town pizzas but this was a nice surprise after being snowed in and not feeling motivated to venture out for something that tasted good. Flavor and efficiency was why I gave it 4 stars. The price was high or I would've given 5.

Jet's is pretty decent. Definitely a step up from Domino's or Little Caesar's. But also definitely not amazing. Not anywhere as good as Cottage Inn or NYPD or Pizza House or Mani Osteria (to name just a few Ann Arbor 'za joints). I enjoy Jet's when I eat it, and it's a good choice when eating on the cheap, but this place should not have a 5 star rating.

Being from San Diego, I wanted to spend my time in Michigan trying things that I can't get back home. Jet's Pizza is just down the road from my hotel so I wanted to give them a shot. Two words; deli boats. Think a deli-style calzone. So delicious & HUGE! One is $7 & I figured at $7, it can't be that big. Again, I was wrong. & the Triple Cheese Jet's Turbo Stix ($6) have to be the best cheese bread I've had in my life, no question. I just hope these guys don't make their way to Southern California. It'll kinda ruin the workout/eating style I plan to resume when I get back home! But if you're in an area of the U.S. where Jet's is, you have to try them.

AWFUL service. I called the night before so I could be certain the pizza I was ordering would be delivered on time. Not only was the pizza an hour late, I stayed on the line to talk to someone for 15 minutes and no one ever picked up. When I received the pizza it was the wrong order. When I asked why it was an hour late they used the excuse the ovens were broken. Good customer service would be to call the person who is expecting the pizza at a certain time and inform them. Normally I love Jet's pizza but this place will never ever get my business again.
